Jackson Wants Out Of Golden State
Aug 28, 2009 9:28 PM EST

Appearing in New York with Al Harrington, Stephen Jackson said he does not want to return to the Warriors this season.

"I don't think I'll be a Warrior next year. I'm looking to leave," Jackson said.

Jackson said the Warriors have been made aware of his desire to be traded.

"I really can't get too much into it right now, but I'm just looking to go somewhere where I can go and win a championship," Jackson said.

Jackson listed the Cavs, any of the teams in Texas and the Knicks as his preferred destinations.

Wanted CapJack in t.o. last season, but his contract is not so great. I am however on the CapJack to the Cavs bandwagon.

Why dont they trade mcgrady for jackson... GS get a valuable expiring contract and the services of mcgrady for half a season. whil HOU get a proven scorer,,(they dont have one now)

Default Stephen Jackson

Ok, so there's not much to talk about, so I'll bring this up again...

Stephen Jackson is looking to get out of Golden State. Ok, he's not the nicest guy in the world, and this trade has zero chance of happening... but what the hell!

Bosh
Banks

for

Stephen Jackson
Andris Biedrins
Stephen Curry

Calderon/Curry
Jackson/Jack/Belinelli/Douby
Turkoglu/DeRozan/Wright
Bargnani/Evans/Johnson
Biedrins/POB

banks + derozan for jackson, does it make sense? We would get a top defender who can score. Sure, he's a jackass at times, but he shown in SAS that he can play for a winner. He's not a colangelo guy, so that's a problem. After ripping them off for marco, GSW might be reluctant to trade with us, and they might not be all that high on derozan.

Personally, I think it could be a good trade for us, at least short term.

That's a stupid deal for them to make. But I'm sure they'd go for Douby and a second round pick.
