I'd love to see him do that in Toronto. I honestly wonder how long the line up would be......

That's a smile? It looks like he's grimacing in pain. Must have strained his arm with all that serving.

I wonder how much Vince told the Salvation Army it would cost them for him to make an appearance.

I'm usually one of those in line to rag on Vince, but when he was here, he was always charitable with his money and his time. Good on him. And good on the Nets for going to a Salvation Army and helping out those who are less fortunate.

From what I've heard Vince is all smiles and chuckles in public, but a a prick behind closed doors.

I just love all the "NBA Cares" stuff. It should be "the NBA Cares about its image"!!

If it gets instilled in some of these players to be charitable, I'm all for it - whatever it may be - serving thanksgiving dinner, visiting children at a local hospital, or helping out in the community.

Im all for this guys helping, but this is just a image thing. Serving thanksgiving doesnt help. Its all part of the NBAs campaign for the cleaning of their "Thug Superstar" images. If they want to help they should spend more than 10.000 dollars from their 15 million a year salary on true projects that help the community. I know there players that do that. Yao and Nash for example.
