Iguodala may want out of Philadelphia?

I wouldn't doubt he'd want out.

Last night during ESPN’s pre-game show ESPN analyst Chris Broussard reported that Philadelphia 76ers wing player Andre Iguodala asked Sixers management to trade him. Broussard stated that the Sixers and Bulls were in preliminary talks to swap Iguodala for Luol Deng.

Deng, a former Duke player is apparently a favorite of new Sixers coach Doug Collins. Collins’ son Chris is the Associate Head Coach for Duke’s basketball team and once coached Deng.

It seems like trade demands are running rampant in the NBA these days with Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul asking to be moved over the summer. Why Iguodala wants to leave Philly is a mystery.

The Sixers inquired about acquiring Carmelo Anthony a few short weeks ago and while the Nuggets do like Andre Iguodala, Melo has zero interest in playing for Philly.

Andre Iguodala may want to leave the Sixers because of a diminished role on the team. Evan Turner is 2010’s number 2 overall pick and sooner rather than later the keys are going to be turned over to college basketball’s Player of the Year. Iguodala may see the writing on the wall.

Anthony has not changed his stance on his desire to be moved even though the Nuggets are hopeful to retain the All-Star.
On Wednesday, ESPN mentioned on a pre-show broadcast that 76ers swingman Andre Iguodala has asked Sixers' management to trade him. That statement, along with some circulating second and third-hand rumors, created a small amount of buzz that Iguodala wants out of Philly.

That is untrue. Iguodala has not requested a trade, nor has he told management he'd like to be traded if the Sixers aren't winning by midseason. Iguodala has not approached management with any trade request. According to a source, the "news" came from a statement Iguodala made -- saying he'd like to play for a winning team -- that was then taken out of context and morphed into the logical next step: well, if Philly isn't winning, then Iguodala wants out.

Again, Iguodala has not made any request of Sixers' management and has not requested a trade.

@itbobby Never said Iggy requested trade, in fact said he didn't. Said he's made team aware that if they don't win, he'll want to move on
Twitter / Chris Broussard: @itbobby Never said Iggy r ...

Good, because im getting really sick of all these superstars going to a select few teams. The great matchups are going soon going to dissapear to a few select games over the year. I for one was always down with watching Wade vs lebron.....but now thats gone. Mello is talked about going to the NY with Paul, Iggy to the bulls, all the big time names and talent will be on the same teams which = bull shit for most of the regualr season games

If the Heat walk into the finals as well as the Lakers, then you can already say this.
