If you had to pick a poison.

Which of these would you wear courtside?

Outside of his annoying and controlling wife, I loved Christie as a ball player. One of the best defenders of our time in my opinion. Carter and Mourning I'd either wipe my ass with their jersey or burn it. ;)

Let's not forget why Doug Christie's name became the fodder of media articles, and why his jersey is often given as a gift to a guy that's just gotten engaged.

Seeing as I don't condone sodomizing girls against their will in Colorado hotel rooms, one kidney jerks who pretend they're not capable of playing to get themselves out of a contract, or momma's boys who act like they've been shot at close range with a cannon when they roll an ankle I'll go with Christie.

Christie hands down. I was too young at the time to realize how disliked he was in certain circles, but i liked the guy ever since he was in the dunk contest with the knicks and tried to kick the ball backwards off the backboard and dunk it. Awesome, pure awesome!

I go with Christie as well. Why? Because most Raptor fans probably won't remember why he was disliked in Toronto. Wearing a VC jersey is an invitation for death.

I'd have to vote for Christie as well... nothing about his marriage didn't remind me of mine...other than he was rich.

Christie. He was gangster when he was here. He never demanded out. He played hard, never screwed the city.

Acie 12-05-2007 03:20 PM

Christie asked to be traded at the end of the 2000 season. ;)

lang 12-05-2007 06:46 PM

Straight up gangster.
