Him and Howard have actually been playing very well off each other, I'm not sure how you can say Kobe is taking away from Dwight when Dwight is averagin 22 ppg. Gasol is just a pussy, but some of it has to do with him being in the high post instead of the low post. And even then, he's averaging 16 ppg. I don't get how Kobe is taking away from them. And Nash has been trying to fit in the offence and it's hurting his efficiency. Nash is the one to decide if they will pick and roll or run the princeton...how is Kobe taking away from Nash?

The problems on the offensive end have been things like Metta World Peace having the ball too much in his hands, Nash not having it enough, and the bench stinking it up. Kobe is the last problem on the offensive end. On the defensive end though, it's been a different story.
LAC did an almost perfect "rope a dope" on kobe yesterday. ideally you don't want bryant to get that 40 so effeciently but nobody else was involved in the game for the lakers!? where did you see howard and bryant playing well off each other? honestly, describe a play, i don't like kobe so maybe i missed it.

to me it just seems damn obvious that the lakers should be pounding it inside and let kobe feed off the scraps. I don't mean that in a derogatory way, his awesome, clutch scoring would profit from that. That's how they should've been playing last season too, gasol and bynum is a great front-court.

i strongly disagree that gasol is a "pussy," i think that's really unfair. He had TWO shots in the whole 2nd half yesterday and 1 was in the last 10secs. ONE meaningful shot in the whole half. is that his fault!? He's a great player when getting regular touches.

the fact that kobe is scoring well does not mean he's not a problem for the lakers offence.

Everyone is getting touches dude. Some are just not being aggressive. Like Gasol and Jamison. Even Nash is getting touches but not scoring or assisting. I guess that's Kobe's fault too.

nope, i agree with you on nash, he will improve.

i just feel the lakers need to play a MUCH more balanced offence if they're going to be successful. Kobe going iso when they have gasol and howard in the post is madness imo. And he went iso A LOT. i only watched the game a few hours ago, i remember it well. There were a fair few contested shots with over 10 secs on the clock as well, bloody frustrating to watch.

i think the criticisms of gasol not being aggressive enough in the past have had some credence to them, at times, but how do you find your aggressiveness when you're not getting touches!? i just can't agree with you that they're all getting touches. Not enough and not in the right places. They look lost, like they're not expecting the ball. Gasol is an 18 and 9 guy, no problem.

you didn't answer a few of my points, not having a go just want to hear your answers. Seriously, what have you seen in terms of howard and bryant working well together?

i think bryant had 1 assist and it was a really nice one. was it to howard? other than that, not seeing it.

I ate too many shreddies last night and it resulted in a painful bowel movement this afternoon.....Kobe's fault.

I still hate Kobe but even I wouldn't say that he's played badly thus far. I thought that Melo was far worse for NYK in their win TBH.... ditto with Westbrook for OKC.

Kobe's being Kobe. If he feels as though people are struggling or unsure he's going to take over. I thought that he played well against the Clips. He could have definitely looked for the bigs a little more though.

Part of me wonders what this Laker team would look like with D'Antoni coaching it lol.... I think it would be showtime reborn! Ha!

Why was it painful? Shouldn't the fibre make things a lot more enjoyable?

Ther was a lot and it all came out in two huge C-like shaped logs. Eating fibre is good, especially if you get the C-like shape poop (so says Doctor Oz) but when you eat a huge amount of the food that contains the fibre, you just end up with a massive dump. At least that's what happens to me when I eat too many bowls of shreddies. Love me some shreddies with a touch of brown sugar. I keep telling myself to go easy next time and limit myself to two bowls. It never happens though. They're just too delicious when I'm tired late at night.

BTW, i'm not liking brown as coach, he should take as much blame as kobe.

but, 1 of the top 3 coaches ever (phil,) JUST ABOUT managed to keep bryant on a leash! Even then gasol was not always getting involved enough. yes i know, we differ on why that is.

Ah, I see. The same thing happens when I have a nice hearty bowl of Raisin Bran before bed. Everything's fine and dandy until about lunchtime the next day when you're sitting in class and the Bran is playing hockey in your bowels. Not a fun time.

It could be worse, though. I could be munching on a block of cheese before bed.

Also, not a huge fan of Shreddies. Occasionally I'll eat it, but I won't go out of my way to have a bowl.

Which is because the bench sucks . Either way I think the reason they're struggling is because of Mike Brown. What the hell is he doing running Princeton when you have one of the best PGs of all time. If this continues he's going to get fired....and soon.
