Signing a two year extension will keep Howard in a magic uni for four more seasons. #magic

His loyalty would be refreshing and admirable. Given Otis Smith's recent and somewhat burdening acquisitions however, I wouldn't fault Dwight for leaving.

guys like Deron Williams and Chris Paul should want to play with him,

Howard is a beast, you can put anybody around him, i mean anybody and his team will still get 50 wins,

the best guy ever played wiht is Turkoglu, and we all know what we think about him,and not this yeras Turk or last years, the one that helped get into the finals

can't imagine what he'll do with Deron Williams or Chris Paul, because one of htem will end up with Howard

I have a feeling he just didn't want to hear those STUPID QUESTIONS in EVERY INTERVIEW for the next YEAR AND A HALF
Thats a horrible perspective to think about.

Orlando meanwhile is going nowhere next four years with Hedo and Arenas on their necks. Only hope is the amnesty clause

Great to hear that Howard will stay in Orlando for a few more seasons.

And from where is the CP3 rumour coming? The Lakers don't have the pieces to land CP3.

Gasol, Brown, Blake

for

CP3

LAL
Paul/Fisher
Kobe/?/Johnson
Artest/Barnes
Odom/Smith
Bynum/Ratliff

NO
Jack/Blake
Brown/Beli
Ariza/Pondexter
Gasol/West
Okafor/Mbenga

Some upgrades would be needed and not sure if the salaries work but it could be something to that effect. To say that LAL doesn't have the assets is just not true.

The Hornets don't have a need for Gasol, as they have Landry. West should return sometime during the season, likely in the 2nd half.

A backcourt of Jack and Brown would be terrible. Both are better suited coming off the bench.

If the Hornets deal CP3, they're going to want young players and draft picks. The Lakers don't have the right pieces. A third team would need to be involved in order for the Lakers to land Paul.

Hmm this is interesting. Some people were sure that he was going to go team up with Kobe in LA. Good for him for not following the Miami (C)Heat's example.

Dwight Howard today shot down a report that he will sign a two-year contract extension with the Orlando Magic before the collective bargaining agreement ends on July 1. Howard made his comment as he appeared this morning at a charity event in Birmingham, Ala., to help people affected by late April's deadly tornados. WKMG Sports Director David "Ping" Pingalore, citing anonymous NBA and Magic sources, reported Monday night that the extension was "all but signed by" Howard.
Dwight Howard: Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard says extension report by Ping is false - OrlandoSentinel.com

I was actually happy he wasn't going to be a turd like all the other superstars in the league nowadays (excluding durant and rose).

Considering Kobe is starting to show age, that would be a bad idea not a good one.
