that'd be awesome, especially if the coaches felt Bosh deserved the spot over garnett and his inferior numbers!

if Yi bypass KG, coaches will chose KG, so CB4 won't be on the allstar team.

whoever wins, wins.
fans vote.
theres nba fans in china and thats who they want to see.
if toronto never had a team there would be alot more votes for nash and dalembert coming from canada.
now were telling people who they should or shouldnt vote for?
thats whack espcially since most of us come from countries who feature democracies.

Even if Yi got in it'd still be a better selection than the NHL ones

To stress, people can vote for whoever they want, but the game shouldnt be done to who fans vote for.

The game should be about the top performers in the NBA.

It should be voted on like how the season ending awards are, by journalists, writers and mabey GM's and Coaches.

I'm pretty sure he does get votes from China, but not entirely. He would be breaking 1 million votes if he was. I think VC rightfully deserves to be an all-star, mainly because he is playing like one and secondly, there Guard selection in the East isn't all that great.

IMO, the guard order (best to worst) in that list is:

1. Wade - obviously the best guard in the East
2. Harris - highest scoring PG in the NBA
3. Johnson - great stats, just not a popular player
4. Carter
5. Calderon
6. Iverson - dwindling stats, people vote for him just because they want to see him on the East team again
7. Allen
8. Nelson
9. Rose
10. Ridnour
11. Arenas - hasn't even played a game!

Fans are the ones paying the bills, fans are the ones that will sell out the game and make the NBA heaps of $, why cant fans decide who they want? Its not a perfect system, but neither is democracy.
