Boozer has sucked since he's went to the Bulls. All I see are jumpshots from him.

I think many are just remembering how he played when Deron was at the top of his game and Sloan had the system running smoothly.

How many Bulls games have you watched?

You forgetting that he absolutely shredded us for 36 & 12?

Played very well against quite a few teams too this season. He's been one of the best PFs in the East.

17/10/3 (8-16) + 4 stls and 4 OREBS tonight in only 29 min.

If we get him I'm pretty sure we could make the playoffs.

Also, really-now people are complaining about flexibility. Flexibility was thrown out the window with LF's contract, DD's extension and acquiring Gay.

I think if he dropped some mass he would be a lot quicker moving on defense. Right now he is built like a body builder.

This is the same deal with the Rudy cap space thing, people talking contracts, if he comes here the money-talk will stop.

I would love the trade to happen:

1) Given the history of Raptors to attract free agents, cap space is not worth it (look at our best players, how many have come from free agency?)
2) Boozer is for sure an upgrade over the actual Bargs, Nate gives me more assurance than JLIII as a backup
3) Amir has been great so far but i think he could need some rest too (he is playing through injuries quite some time now). If Boozer does not work out, we have a plan B in Amir and it would only mean we have to move Boozer too (BC has already shown he is able to unload bad contracts quite efficiently).

I really like Bargs and i think that going to Chicago could reinvigorate his career quite a lot (even if im convinced he is only a fiance away from last season...).

He's short, slow, old and overpaid. And he was all that even before Chicago paid him.
Wouldn't touch him

The cap will increase by probabaly 10 milion and the team has committed to spending into the tax. Pretty sure its still important. Not to mention..it's alway important.

Yeah, but only now people are going on about flexibility after what's already happened.

And yet he's still close to averaging a double-double (almost bang on to his career avgs in fact)... and was still close to making the all-star team.... and still shredded us for 36 & 12 the last time we played against him.

Boozer wouldn't be here as a piece to build around for the next 10 years.... he'd be a guy to complete our current core and bolster our front line. He'd be here to help make this team a legit playoff force over the next 2 seasons. He'd also be here to further legitimize this team in the eyes of the league.
