Hey just wanted to say Hello to everyone this is my first post take it easy on me lol...

How great would it be if the Raptors could pick up Crawford hes a proven scorer and at the 2 position would be a great fit for the raps.

Welcome to RF.

I've always liked Crawford and right now he would be an amazing fit with our current roster. But is it feasible for us this summer while still retaining Marion at the same time? That's a bigger question.

I look at it this way. Has Crawford ever been on a winning team? No.

Therefore, I'd really not want him here. Hell when you think about it, the teams he's left have arguably gotten better. (e.g. Chicago and even New York)

If this was back in 2001 to 2005 i would definitely want to keep Marion he was one of my favorite players back then. But were in 2009 and he only going to get slower and older. The only shot he seems to be able to hit consistently is a little hook from 2 feet in front of the basket..

Marion 30 and slow .... Crawford 28 and still quick...

come on like we can do any worst... what about Carter there was rumors of him coming back and he hasn't won anything so i guess Carter is a career loser and Bosh is a career loser and don't forget KG up until last year its not Crawford fault those teams didn't win ... Come on Chicago and New York wont win with or without Crawford

KG had big years in Minny, Carter was part of the best Raptors team ever and has won a couple playoff rounds, but with his contract, dont want him either. We need a youngin with potential imo or a really proven vet leader who can score

i dont like how crawford is pegged as a 'career loser' Ugo.
the guy has never played on a good team. if he was magically traded to LA at the deadline and they won the title (with him only playing 30 games), would he still be considered a career loser?

its a horrible title to give a guy who's just been unlucky to play for any good teams.

i like crawford, he's a very good scorer who can light it up on any given night.
he isnt someone i think would help us over the hump, and really make us that much better, so i'd pass on aquiring him... but he is still a good player nonetheless.

Crawford is a good scorer, but I'd rather have Marion than Crawford. Shawn is a much better fit. Crawford is a one trick pony. At least with Marion, you have a guy who can rebound, get garbage points and play tight D.

But was if there was a way to have both Hoops?

A starting line-up of Jose, Jamal, Marion, Bosh & Bargani would look pretty darn good don't you think?

It would, but I cant see Crawford leaving 20 million on the table for the next two seasons to accept a salary less than that.

Kind of sounds like Iverson.

Hell, there's no difference between Ben Gordon and Jamal Crawford really. I'd likely take Gordon over Crawford and that's saying something coming from me. Give me a guy who can play some D and hit open shots. I'd like my scoring to come from the wing position.
