So much talent, but no return.

The guy has won nothing.

Maybe they return from 3-0 and make a run for the title. Vince sucks in this P.O.

Lil Wayne!!! THANK YOU!!! Excellent name for a post, EXCELLENT!

But Vince has lost 2 steps. It's so obvious. He was the king of Canada, but is just another star in the US. It's sad, we had a chance at a dynasty if we just held onto draft picks.

The greatest player we ever had. Would love to see him back here with the fans forgiving him. He made basketball what it is today in Canada.

Sign and trade Bosh and hedo/calderon for rashad lewis and vince maybe get gortat or Bbass??? Hahaha wed be switching around bad contracts, some may argue but would get a couple of superstars. Our defence would be crap but atleast wed be able to rebound.

Has anyone noticed Vince got a lot fatter since his days in Toronto? I guess that comes with age.....and lazyness.

that bit is actually from this dvd, pretty cool little production.

When I think of us having Vince and T-Mac, I die a little inside. Then I look at the team we have now and I'm like whaaaa?

Never any hate for Vince definitely the best player the Raptors ever had just not the biggest heart.
Too bad they couldn't transfuse 10% of Nash's grit in his DNA

ya it hurts thinking about the potential, yet in the end i'd say typical NBA superstar ego bullshit got in the way.

It's too bad Carter got so many damn injuries. He was sooooo sick. I remember jumping around like a kid on christmas when he did that one handed alley oop against the clippers. No player in the NBA today can even come close to replicating that feeling I had after that play. But it is a good thing we traded him while he was declining, but what was Babcock thinking with that trade? He surely could have gotten a better deal.

We got like 2 ESPN appearances this year lol, with Carter we had like 5 or 6.

But the truth is Carter has the personality of "when the going gets tough, Imma get going". Only so many players can do what he could do before, but I think the Raptors are to blame too. They mis-handled Carter and gave him EVERYTHING he wanted. I mean you can't do that, look what happened to LeBron. Players should be players, just as GM's should be GM's. But I will harshly criticize Carter for one thing. He ASKED for his own team. He ASKED to lead a team. WE invested a lot of time and money in him, and when we FINALLY said no to trading away future pieces for old players he asked for a trade. That's frustrating. That's why I boo him. Not because of the "fake" injuries. Not because he gave up a lot. But because he didn't appreciate what the team sacrificed just to make him succeed and make him happy. And LeBron, albeit more talented and in a different situation, is about to do the same thing.

meh.

this thread is about the good days.

I am gonna comment on THEM.

I remember being truly excited, like giddy, every time there was a game. You just knew he was going to do something that knocked you on your ass. It was like a new era of ball was beginning with Jordan winding down, and your team had the next guy. It's mostly why there was such a massive let down when it did go bad.

Those years though...... damn. Carter was King.
