Default Hansbrough Thinks He'll Go Higher Than 12th

Quote:
Former North Carolina stud Tyler Hansbrough sees himself going a lot higher than people project in this month's NBA Draft.

In a recent radio interview with WFNZ, Hansbrough said that he believes he will be selected higher than 12th. The Bobcats own the twelfth overall pick, and have shown interest.

"Nah, I don't think so I think I have a chance to go a little higher [than 12th] but we'll see what happens," Hansbrough said of whether he feels he'll go 12th. "It's hard to tell right now, it's still early a lot of things can happen, but the draft is approaching and we'll have to wait and see what happens."

He went on to say that his place in mock drafts and the doubts some have about his NBA career don't bother him.

"Yeah, I mean, I'm just doing what I do. A lot of people have doubted me and things like that, which is great it seems like I'm proving a lot of people wrong," Hansbrough said.

I'm telling you guys. He's going to be a more mobile Jorge Garbajosa. He must be creating buzz through his workouts.

The Bobcats have interest in another undersized big that was great in college? That's a little freaky.

Even with an amazing workout, whos going to draft an undersized PF with limited athleticism and no real NBA skills? He has bust written all over him.

I thought they wanted to get rid of Yi

Im not saying Hans is great, but he's probably a top 3 PF in this draft
and they need a future starting PF

well....why not draft DeJuan Blair then?....pretty sure hell be available at 11......but Hansbrough?.....really?....thats their future?.....he is more of a bech player......and i still dont understand why every team Yi goes to, they try to trade him.....

maybe they're concerned about his knees
they might go with Clark, Im not Jersey
but its not farfetched to think Hans will be a lotto pick considering he's a proven commodity in a weak draft

Hansbrough isnt proven anything when it comes to NBA level talent. I dont think he'll ever get to the level of a Josh Boone even who is a very solid backup C. No way they draft a Hansbrough first of all, let alone to start for them.

I thought they were pretty high on Anderson and Boone. Williams and Yi have fallen out of favour though I think, which is kind of disappointing considering Yi and Williams are considered the more talented bigs on that team that were projected to do big things.

Top three PF in the draft? Griffin, Hill, Blair are all going to be better players than Hansbrough. I don't see NJ addressing their starting four spot through the draft but if they were planning on it I don't think they'd be staying put at 11.

Hansbrough will suck in the nba. He's an "energy guy" who's unathletic and can't jump. That'll work. His biggest asset in the NBA will probably be his midrange jumpshot offensively... when he can get it off

But yea... he'll a 10th man type

MJ favours ballers from UNC, not undersized white guys with no hops and a lack of skill.
