GSW undecided on Curry

But hopefully they see how hard I’ve been working in the summer to get back and that I have a different optimism than I’ve had going into each year. I’m ready to go. They’ve seen me work out a little bit now. Knowing that we went into the ankle in April and saw there was no structural damage, no red flags that say, ‘Hey, he’s not going to be the same player ever again’ — all those things kind of add up to me being a good investment piece for the future.’ The Warriors will talk contract ahead of Oct. 31. But what is not clear is whether they will be courtesy conversations, designed to let Curry know he is wanted yet minus the serious money to close the deal.”

Hes an allstar level player when healthy. Its just too bad his ankles are so weak.

That's an ugly package for them. They can do much better.

I was referring to injuries.... I could see Curry struggling to regain this supposed level he has achieved going forward

do u mean coz of injury problems or ability?

i do think ellis is good and exciting to watch but i'm alergic to chuckers! or should i say "high volume shooters." So, just my opinion, barring injuries, they traded the right guy.

Ellis has proven more than Curry has and over a longer period and with a better health record..... I'm not sure you're right

when it comes to health i definitely can't disagree, that trade was a risk. I think we've all probably made conclusions on guys after only a season or two because we like them compared to another player. I don't really like ellis' style and i do like curry's, so the decision is easy for me, but strictly speaking you're right, he hasn't proven himself for as long as ellis.

no such thing as a chucker when you play for teams like gsw, phx, nyk, ind, orl etc. lol

I like the term shot-makers instead of chuckers. Players who have the ability to create shots in difficult situations, and players who make shots against perfect defense.

We seriously need to go after Eliis next summer imo. Then deal Derozan, especially if Ross has a promising rookie season.

really, in all honesty, ellis is the last great perimeter player I would want to go for. he's kobe, minus talent. kobe can only be kobe, well, because he's kobe. I don't think there's ever been a better scoring guard, barring jordan.

i hear ya, bryant makes some absolutely sick, game-changing shots at times and i do marvel at it like evryone else. Just think he takes about 5fga too many on average per game.

This debate has been done plenty, you know where i'm coming from, LAL criminally underused their bigs last season imo, was so frustrating to watch for me. Play inside-out, pound it inside, then let bryant do his thing from the perimeter when needed. People saying they might do that next season coz they've got dwight now, come on, gasol and bynum is EASILY good enough to have been doing that last year!

i like chucker coz it sounds good! It might be a bit unfair but not really imo.
