Default Griffin to be not in 2012 Dunk Contest

So as of right now, it seems that Griffin has pulled out of the dunk contest. It will be great to see some new faces, and someone who isnt going to automatically win because of popularity or because they jumped away from a car. I wish that DeRozan would re-enter into the contest again but he said he wont do another dunk contest unless the all star game is in Toronto. Coming from a guy whose never lost a dunk contest until he entered in the NBA and lost to props.

Keeping that in mind. Who do you guys want to see in the dunk contest this year

Since 2008? I think 2003 with J-Rich was the last good dunk off I've seen...

I hope Javale McGee is a no show, as well. I feel myself getting dumber watching him play basketball - dunk contests included.

they need to get rid of the fan voting, and make active players that won the event judges like VC and J rich and howard and whoever

The fan voting for the dunk contests sucks. Bet you its probably rigged too if the person the NBA wants to win doesnt

2000 is the last great dunk off. But 2003 was still pretty entertaining IMO.

I actually think last year's DUNKS were great. Just not the results. Should've been McGee and DeRozan.

Car dunk was VERY lame and really tarnished the dunk contests image. It was clearly a publicity stunt and the judges were told to get Grif to the finals.

I hope they change the rules to "No Props Needed!", but I'm dreaming.
