Grant Hill thinking of joining the Knicks

Quote:

Grant Hillís interest in joining the Knicks and being slotted as their starting shooting guard on a potential Eastern Conference contender is growing by the day, and there is a sense he is leaning toward the Big Apple.

The Bulls and Clippers have been mentioned as possible landing spots for Hill, who has played the past three seasons with the Suns.
Hill would be playing in the New York spotlight, where a basketball renaissance has taken place.

He would be thrust into the basketball mecca and his wife, Tamia, a recording artist, would be in the media and musical mecca.

She is expected to release a new album in two months.

Bah. One less great teammate for Nash. It's quite depressing.
I wish there were no Pauls and Dwights in the near future. Knicks would go after Nash with the few assets they got left and let him end his career competing.

This is exactly what NY needs. They need to add solid rotation players for cheap to add depth to their roster so they have a fighting chance this season. Next up they need to acquire a center like Foster for cheap. Then re sign Williams, and get one more big just in case.

Would be a hell of a pickup for NYK... a guy who Amare and Melo can respect and a guy who can actually play some D and chip in on O. Handle the ball too.

I'd love to see him go to the Clips to see if he can lead that promising young team to the playoffs.

Nash should go to Miami Heat! They are more likely to win it all this upcoming season! + That's the team where mos Canadians end up playin'!

Wow, what the fuck is Nash doing in Phoenix then? He needs to get out this season. Why would he want to waste his time there ... they aren't winning a ring anytime soon.

It's called loyalty.

Loyalty for what? A sunken ship? Phoenix is done, if the 'loyalty' was a two way street the owners would encourage him to go to a contender.

Honestly... I think that he just really likes PHX (the city).

Phoenix still has fans..who I'm sure still believe in the team.

I mean hey, I understand what you are saying, but the bottom line is that Nash signed a 2 year extension in July 2009. Everyone knew Amare was packing his bags at that point in time..he turned down an extension.

Steve knew what he was getting into, and he seems happy in Phoenix..so let him be.
