The Nets acquired Wallace in exchange for their 2012 first round pick (top-3 protected), along with Mehmet Okur and Shawne Williams.

3 years at 29 mill? Wouldn't accept it probably. Don't really want him either. Younger talent should have our money thrown at them.

And that's ok....I think the majority of fans feel the same about him with his declining stats and years of injury. Personally I'm not hung up on him being 30 but with his past he would be a risk IMO.

cant stand this guy, maybe because he played for the bobcats which i can't stand the bobcats or maybe the fact that he also put on a portland trail blazer uniform which i cant stnad those guys either or the nets which all Raptors fans secretly wish dallas gets deron williams becasue we all hate the nets

there are some players you just dont want to see wearing a Raptors uniform

Like others have said, doesn't really make sense for our team. Hopefully this just means someone else spends their cap space on him, eliminating one of our competitors.

Unless their ball lands top 3. They dumped 2 toxic contracts on the Blazers and got Wallace as spare change. I'm thinking about going to the Blazers draft party. I'll get a Portland Crash jersey (60% off), then tape Nets on it. Then if that Brooklyn ball lands 1,2,3, I'm gonna jump in front of the big screen and start screaming like a crazed Nets fan!!!
