Wow!!! The Hoyas came out as bunch of pussies they didn't even punched back or retaliated. In the US ("home of the 'brave'"), they're all looking tough, walking on the streets with homies wearing baggy stuffs and cause havoc in the community but once they're in a foreign country, they can't defend for themselves. All they did was to break-out the fight when they're the target by the Chinese.

It's shocking actually that the Hoyas has produced some badass NBA superstars over the years to the likes of Allen Iverson, Jerome Williams, and Patrick Ewing but the current Hoyas representing the team were acting the contrary.

Yeah, they beat the Chinese in the game, but they end up getting their ass kicked and walked out of the court like losers. Well, the US owed trillions of dollars from them right so probably that could be the factor why they didn't fought back. The Hoya coach probably told his guys if there'd a fight, just let the Chinese give the satisfaction of assaulting them.

Maybe some of them didn't want to look as foolish as the Chinese? You saw it your way, I think there is a better way to look at it.

They were instructed not to fight by their coaches... they are outnumbered... they are guests... and the VP is in China
and I don't think they want to face any NCAA bans for an exhibition game
Georgetown education > whatever they got on the pro team

Walking out from a fight hurts your ego - especially when you're a (real) man.

I just don't understand what's the point of going to that communist country and play when they have a reputation of brawls when the win isn't on their side.

This may be the one of the most incorrect and uninformed posts in the history of RF.

Oh enlighten me... what's the bigger picture here? You seem to know what's the best thing to do in this situation but funny your bros couldn't hold their emotions during the game... or should I say everytime when they're losing the game.

At least the Hoya kids lives in a democratic country.

not sure how you can blame people for being born into a country that doesn't readily let them leave. also not sure how you can be so definitive about the clear superiority of a broken 220 year old democracy over a complex and culturally rich four thousand year old empire. that might need a litttle more explanation than a throw-away line...

It's funny how most of you are on the moral high horse.

The Hoya players got their asses kicked, and whether it was the right thing to do, they should've put up a better fight. I'm disappointed. This will hurt Georgetown's basketball programs street rep lol

yeah, you're right 666. the best thing to do as a visitor in an international friendly game is to throw some quality punches.
