Nets Frank out as Nets coach?

The Nets are playing like a team that can't wait for the regular season to end. Eight more games, guys, just eight more. That's all that remains in their season and perhaps coach Lawrence Frank's career on the Nets' bench. To his credit, Frank has had this team unexpectedly in the playoff race for most of the season, but on back-to-back days, the Nets have been embarrassed. If this is how the Nets are going to end this year, it won't reflect well on Frank, who has one year left on his contract.

I agree Lawrence Frank is a fabulous coach. He is great for a young team and always screaming in his teams ear.

If they let him go he better be on the first plane to Toronto. He'd be fantastic anywhere. Nets fans dont appreciate what they have. He knows what the fuck hes doing on both sides of the ball. There isnt many coaches out there that can say that. I love how he switches up his defences in game. Theyve won a ton of games they shouldnt have this year and a lot of the credit has to go to Frank.

I'll add to the lovefest.

From what I've seen of Frank I've LOVED. Great coach with great playcalling.

I'd take him in a second.

I think he's a little over-rated. I like him, but he's gotten no results for a long time. And don't give me any shit about his teams not being good. He's had plenty of talent.

To me - he's a prime example of the overall unimportance of coaching, particularly with regard to X's and O's. If it was a bigger deal that could allow for wins to be masterminded, then Lawrence would get better results, and so would a half dozen guys brought in from the college ranks. We could all love his intellectual brilliance for years while the team goes down the toilet over and over again.

The NBA would be 10 times better if many coaches started to actually coach in-game.

I'm not surprised by this... I go to Nets forums every now and then and whenever I do I always see numerous posters wishing that Frank would get the boot. It really reminded me of Raps fans + Mitchell.

I heard they played a pretty bad game last night... fans started booing after the first quarter. Devin and Carter didn't even play in the 2nd half at all, sounds like they just gave up.
