I don't think I've ever seen this much on- and offcourt troubles surrounding a team like this years Knicks. Yes, well, since the Jailblazers that is.... :cookie:

Jailblazers were definitely as bad or worse. The Wizards team with Gilbert Arenas and his gun collection was pretty embarrassing too.

few more details reported here

Knicks point guard Raymond Felton was arrested on three counts of criminal possession of a weapon early Tuesday after his estranged wife's lawyer dumped his gun off with cops, sources said

Felton surrendered after a lawyer for his wife, Ariane Raymondo-Felton, 26, brought a Belgian pistol — an FNH 5.7x28-mm. — that belonged to the hoops star, sources said.

The raven-haired beauty — a Cornell University grad who is now studying at Fordham University School of Law — filed for divorce from Felton after the couple married just 19 months ago and, according to a police source, was uncomfortable that the handgun was being kept in the home.

Gawd I love the Knicks.

ZanTheMan 02-25-2014 11:40 AM

Who knows Felton might have bought a gun because of all the furious NY fans he had to deal with? We all know that's why Bill Russell carried a gun wherever he went.....

creative1mm 02-25-2014 11:51 AM

they needed a full rebuild from time, but tried this quick fix thing by getting Melo.

biggest chucking team in the league lol

CobraKing 02-25-2014 11:56 AM

^^

Bill Russell played bball in a different time, you can't fault him for still carrying that mindset.

This cat Felton on the other hand must be going through alot of emotions. Gets divorced within 2 years of getting married to some broad who looks like she did it for the money coupled with the scorn heaped on him by the NY media and and NYK fans.

The ex-wife could've just destroyed the weapon.

ZanTheMan 02-25-2014 12:05 PM

Who knows Bargs might be carrying a firearm himself... :cookie:

m5racer 02-25-2014 12:36 PM

The NYK have this special ability that has them in the top 3 payrolls every year, yet they are one of the worst teams time and time again.....I feel like they pull Major League moves all framed around BC - Build a team that looks good on paper + Quick fixes and trading all picks will be the franchises salvation

Diamond Scorpion 02-25-2014 12:43 PM

I guarantee this fucking asshole serves 0 jail time. He must feel like a big man for waiving his gun around his wife. Simply nothing more than a waste of space.

jeffb 02-25-2014 12:48 PM

Oh the knicks. Watching last night's game and how they lost was extremely satisfying.

Melo keeps knocking down 35-40+ ppg lately on pretty decent efficiency and they're still not winning. He must be beside himself wondering what he needs to do to get W's.

How about involving your teammates and spreading the shots around? Work for us. :jack:

I agree, but he's at least being efficient. As a team they're averaging 99ppg this month, if only they played defense they could win some games.

Last 3 games they've given up 346pts with opponents shooting 47FG%

ZanTheMan 02-25-2014 01:34 PM

It's amazing how essentially the same roster wins a ton of games one year and sucks donkeyballs the next.

You can't tell me an aged JKidd makes all the difference????

th3answ3r 02-25-2014 01:42 PM

this is a huge dropoff from ecf last year that I thought they should've won, melo looks absolutely depressed
