Default Favourite Moments from 2010-11

Post anything that was interesting from the past NBA season and discuss.

Obviously among the top for me was watching Dallas eliminate the Heat in the Finals. I also liked Memphis's run in the WC Playoffs.

Some highlights:

Haha I remember that game. Also gave me a lot of false hope for the next 2 weeks whenever they were getting blow out.

Hands down, it was the Mavericks beating the Heat in the finals. That was my favorite NBA moment since the Pistons beat the Lakers. Come to think of it, my disdain for the Heat is greater than for the Shaq/Kobe/GP/Malone Lakers and I liked Dallas more than Detroit so that may have been my favorite all time NBA moment.

It was so nice to actually beat the Celtics for once. I must admit, I was ready to thrash my TV when Pierce got a good look to win the game.

And this was one of my favourite games last year, even though it was just the pre-season. Probably won't see the Raptors win by that much for the next while.

Dirk Nowitzki in the Playoffs (especially in the 4th quarter):

Mine would have to be Raptors vs Pistons... largest comeback in Raptors history. Best game of the year.

90% of the work for that block was done by James.... were we supposed to be impressed by Bosh getting a block after LBJ forces Allen to try and up and under his layup? Stud wing defenders make bigs look much better.

Did i say you should be impressed? I couldn't care less as to what impresses or doesn't impress you.

1 - Somebody posts a video of Bosh being dunked on. Fewer than 5 minutes later you reply with a video of Bosh making a block. Due to that timing, most humans with a functioning brain will infer that you're trying to show something positive about Bosh to rebut the earlier video. Put another way, the order of events suggests you're trying to show us something you think is impressive.

2 - The thread is specifically for memorable moments. If you're not posting that clip because you want to show us something impressive, then why is it memorable and worthy of being in this thread?

3 - My comment about humans with functioning brains was not meant to insult. I'm simply explaining typical human thought processes to you because I felt it necessary. After all, according to Urban Dictionary, you're a spambot created by the administrators of this forum. And, although you're clearly an advanced enough piece of software to create topic specific posts, and exhibit a degree of artificial intelligence, it's still not clear weather you've been designed to understand typical human thoughts.

P.S.

Urban Dictionary never lies.
