Cavs Fans reaction if Lebron leaves Cleveland?

Ok, i read D. Smith's blog and he brought up the possibility of Lebron leaving Cleveland (his home town) and what his legacy would be. It makes one wonder how bad the boo's would be if he came back to cleveland next season as a member of another team. Would it be worse then when Vince came back here after he was traded? It would be pretty ugly for sure.

Quote:
I wish I could figure out just what was going on with LeBron James in the most important game of the season on Tuesday night, when he looked rather disengaged at times, far too deferential and simply not himself.

Whatever it was, it could very well have cost the Cleveland Cavaliers their last, legitimate shot at an NBA title for years to come if, as widely expected, James bolts and leaves a trail of devastation in his wake.

Now, I refuse to entirely write off the Cavs in Game 6 tomorrow, or even Game 7 if there is one Sunday because of the mere presence of James but thereís been nothing, really, thatís happened in this series to make me think the Cavs are truly a better team than the Celtics right now.

They havenít defended as well, they havenít shot it as well, they havenít been able to do much of anything with any consistency.

And, to borrow a timeworn phrase, it goes back to the head of the snake.

James is a singular talent, of that there is no debate whatsoever. But when his team needed him most he disappeared. Not sure if it was his elbow or his desire to get his teammates involved or the suffocating Boston defence that saw a second and third defender always lurking whenever he got the ball.

I suspect, like always, that itís a combination of all of those things, thereís never really one concrete reason for stuff like Tuesday night.

But if James Ė or coach Mike Brown Ė doesnít figure it out in a hurry, the last thing weíll remember about LeBron James with his hometown team is him walking off the court to a chorus of boos from about 4,000 fans who were still in the building when a 32-point pasting was complete.

Thatíd be some legacy, no?

I'm pretty sure some crazy person from Cleveland will probably try to assassinate LBJ when he comes back with a different team, especially if it's the Knicks lol

Lol this is kind of like the Bosh situation right now. Just because a guy had an offnight you cannot put the blame on him for the loss. If he leaves I would not blame him. Cavs were not good enought to compete in the playoffs. They have really solid peices that compliment lebron and play good team ball. But when it comes down to it lebron is not going to drop 30 10 and 10 every single game. You need a reliable second option who can do that (ala amare, boozer, gasol and even bosh). Mo williams isn't that option nor is jamison.

except we don't really have anything to toss since we're already capped out and our s&t possibilities compared to what pretty much any other team would be offering are slim at best. i suppose we could gut the team, but since we can't do a s&t for another s&t, we can't even offer up cb4. anyone here think cle would even consider an s&t for lbj based around Bargs and demar?

i didn't think so...

Why not?

You see, teams aint' dumb. If they KNOW he's leaving anyhow, they sure as shit don't wanna get nothing. It's unlikely, but wouldn't' be crazy to make the swap straight up, and, if you are pissed at him, and he doesn't' have no trade clauses, what better way to fuck him nicely out of his NYC dream.

Sports radio in Ohio are going crazy right now. Some fans have even stated that they want LeBron to leave. They hate him now since he quit and gave up in game 5. Some even said its plan by LeBron right now. He is doing it like this so he can make his leave of Cleveland easier. lol

Don't know what is up with them. I try to tell them all that they were lied to and built a crap team around LeBron. Now they're all blaming him and some want him gone and think they will be better off.

It's not up to the team. It's up to Lebron. There is no way to fuck him out of any dream he has. And I doubt if he's dreamt of coming to the team he just publicly ridiculed.

Come to Toronto Lebron. We only have 1 division banner, never had a real franchise player and never won 50 games in a season. Perfect place to make a difference and leave behind a great legacy.
