According to Chris Broussard from ESPN, Vince is likely on his way out soon too.

The Nets are willing to send Carter to Indiana for Jermaine O'Neal.

If O'Neal receives a clean bill of health within the next week, I've been told by league sources that there's a 70 percent chance of this trade going down.

why would NJ trade VC for Injuredmaine O'neal now that kidd is gone, it makes absolutely no sense in my opinon.

Ya, they got devin harris, but i dont see how JO, RJ and Harris will take them anywhere..but that said, id be happy to see fuckhead in indiana.....who wants to live there ? lol

Diop/O'Neal/Jefferson/Harris is pretty good. I don't know who the hell's going to play the 2 guard though. Maybe Wright or they'll get Rush from Indy and through in a forward?

truth is VC has never been the same since the knee injury(s) he suffered in Toronto, his explosiveness went down greatly and i really think its a huge reason he stopped going to the hole and is a shell of himself, altho Raptors fan love to say he is just soft, which he is, but i think the knee plays a big role in that aswell. He is now just an overpaid jump shooter who occasionally flashes some of his old dazzling ways, but way too far between to make him even an allstar or worth talking about, i think if Jermaine was healthy (but is he eveR) he is a more bang for the buck.

From what ive heard the basketball ppl didnt wanna pay VC that much, but the ownership did, now its hard to move him for anything worthwhile cuz almost every1 in the league knows what he is.
