ESPN: Johnson Out As Dallas Head Coach

Let the Dallas fire sale begin. First to go, Avery Johnson.

The Mavs have now lost 12 out of their last 15 postseason games after taking a 2-0 lead in the Finals against Miami.

Mark Cuban and Johnson engaged in an emotional argument after a March 18 home loss to the Lakers and sources indicated that Cuban actually considered firing Johnson before the playoffs.

D'Antonio is likely next. Kerr will likely wait till tomorrow before the spotlight is on Phoenix. Let Dallas have their day today.

Didn't MJ say before that he wanted an Avery Johnson-type coach? And now he's stuck with Larry Brown - interesting.

I still think AJ is a great coach and we'd be lucky to get him.

I heard today BC said Smitch isn't goin anywhere so don't get too excited. I can't wait to see the mavs just completley split up and rebuild that team - Hey maybe we can get somebody from them for Ford!
