Default ESPN: Embiid's physical with Cleveland raises red flags

There are conflicting accounts of how it went on this page. Interesting though....

Joel Embiid's physical with the Cavs didn't go well, and raised plenty of "red flags" ESPN reports he's out of the race for the #1*pick.

I never believe in rumors, but if in fact Embiid's physical came back with red flags I wonder if he will drop out of the top 3 and I also wonder how low he will drop because of it.

Then Wiggins must be a lock, picking Parker over him wouldn't be a safe bet

Yeah, Wiggins is a lock for the first overall pick now. You best believe Masai is drafting Embiid at 20 with or without red flags though. I know it's wishful thinking, but it did happen with Sullinger who was at one point a consensus top 5 pick. Maybe he trades up in the first 10 spots to snag him.

Looks like he'll be paired with Jonas next season.

no way he slips past 5 and if he does, Lakers will get him and turn him into some next level monster

I read a tweet from Sam Amico, a Cavs reporter, who said the physical came back with no red flags. I'm sure the truth will come out soon.

Yeah his tweet is on the page I linked. That's why I said conflicting reports. It won't take long to know who is right I guess.

I don't see him as castration worthy tbh. The price tag would be too high. No GM in the top 5 of the draft would even dare trade their pick with all the hype.

sorry I should have clarified. If he drops out of the top 5. I'd be willing to give up Ross or DD in a package, in that order.

Sacramento needs a defensive Center, move Cousins to the PF.

I have feeling we'll be pleasantly surprised with who end up with if we stick with #20. Someone will drop to us imo.

Isn't this the same Cleveland training staff that said Anthony Bennett will lose the extra chub to become a phenom in the NBA?

If there is even the slightest hint at an issue with his back, no way Cleveland takes that kind of risk. I mean when they win the lottery next year there won't be such talent at #1. They need to get this right.
