Since you and I get along pretty well, I figure I can say this without there being any hurt feelings.....YOU'RE FUCKING NUTS!

I'd take a healthy Gordon over all those guys except for Kobe, Wade and Manu. And soon I'd take him over Manu.

Last year, Gordon shot decent percentages and put up 22 ppg/4+ assists, and he got to the line 6+ times.

Of course, stats are not everything. This is the important point:
At a young age, dude still has a big impact on the win column. Last year, with Gordon in the lineup, the Clipps go 25-31 and are challenging for a playoff spot. They were gaining momentum and probably would have been .500 if he was healthy the whole season.

Games with no Gordon, Clips go 7-19.

hahaha.... you know I respect your opinion... I just can't get past how small he is and when I've seen him, his defense has not been good. As far as injury concerns, there are some. As for some of those names, I still think in win now mode, Terry, Crawford, Ellis, Johnson, Harden are better choices, and some others.

Never happen. He is not coming here.

The truth is, despite comments by Bill Simmons back in December, and maybe a couple of other authors, Gordon's contract issue has flown under the radar. However, Indiana is very aware of the situation. Indiana has a good team right now, yet the Pacers still held back from using all of their cap space, even though now would be a good time to use it, since a bunch of their players are on rookie contracts and will eventually need raises. The Pacers showed a lot of discipline by not going after another piece to further strengthen their bench.

There is good reason to believe that Indiana will go after Gordon, and that Gordon wants to play for the Pacers. He played college in Indiana and supposedly likes it there. I think Simmons might be on to something when he speculates that the Pacers held back from going after another solid player during the FA period because they want to make a bigger splash this summer.

I agree that injuries are a concern. I put healthy in bold because I'm ackowledging that. Fair point. As for size, Terry and Ellis are small, too. I see Harden as maybe on par with Gordon, but I'm not sure because, well, we may not have seen his full game due to the fact that he has to defer so much in OKC.

I would definitely take Gordon over Crawford and Johnson. Their best games are behind them, although they are still effective.

well Kaman trade always seemed inevitable. it makes no sense to resign him and he might bring back a decent pick or two.

All these things are sure-fire signs that I would want to buy that team... ...

Well done shitheads who screwed that Laker trade up.

Just remove the team from the league, they'll lose less money that way.
