Magic Ellis to Orlando?

Quote:
The Magic and Warriors are in trade talks involving Monta Ellis, sources confirmed to RealGM.

No trade is imminent, but talks are ongoing say sources.

The willingness for the Warriors to deal Ellis has increased over the past few weeks. While Ellis does not have as much trade value as teammate Stephen Curry, he does represent the franchise’s best opportunity to change the status quo.

Orlando has been active in their pursuit of a scoring guard to pair with Dwight Howard in an effort to retain him.

JJ Redick or J-Rich + Anderson? That team needs a vet.

I really wish we could land him somehow.

ORL has nothing to offer besides Dwight. They literally have nothing to offer other teams to acquire a high level talent to sway Dwights thinking in to wanting to stay. Theyre fucked.

Howard's done, I think he's sick of Orlando.

Yep, Orlando's screwed. Their one trading option for a caliber player like what Howard wants beside him IS Howard, they have no options.

I don't think those players could land a gamechanger to keep Dwight happy.

The Magic, Warriors and Hornets are in discussions on a three-team trade, two league sources confirmed.

Monta Ellis, Andris Biedrins and Dorell Wright would be sent by the Warriors to the Magic.

Ryan Anderson, J.J. Redick, Hedo Turkoglu and Quentin Richardson would be the main outgoing pieces from Orlando.

The Hornets' exact involvement is unclear, but believed to be centered around Chris Kaman.

No trade is imminent but talks are ongoing say sources.

If Orlando swings this deal, they'd be smart to still do the Howard to CHI deal if Howard can be convinced and insist on Noah instead of Boozer.....

Nelson
Ellis
Deng
Davis
Noah

Bench- Duhon, Wright, Biedrins, J-Rich, Orton, Wafer

Wow. Getting Ellis and shedding Turkoglu in the same move?
