![]() You know we're going to do it, regardless.
![]() I've heard nothing but good things about Eddie Jordan. And he was able to make his team competitive even with the loss of his (headcase) all-star player Gilbert Arenas and knuckleheads like Etan and Brendan Haywood fighting in the lockerroom. People say he was the brains behind Lawrence Frank and helped NJ get to the finals. I don't know if he is a defensive coach or if he could help our team at all... |

Actually the last few games aside the Raptors D is miles above the Wiz. That being said I would be lying if I didn't say the idea of him here doesn't intrigue me. |

![]() WAS fans have wanted this a while. From what Ive read, his protect the paint at all costs D has really cost them a lot of games as theyve been last in the league at allowing 3pt fg for a couple years now, and his rotations are atrocious like ours.
Then again, that team has been going nowhere for 3-4 years so it really isnt all his fault. Resigning those guys for that much money this offseason was just terrible management on whoever their gm is part. Re sign players so you can be a 1 and done team every year like youve been with them since they got here, real smart. They needed to trade Arenas and Jamison this offseason, and build around Young and Butler. Instead they decided to go treadmill and look where its gotten them. |

![]() Jordans offense would wor great in TO.
A sharp shooting point, very versatile Bargs, Great PF in Bosh, 3 point shooters. With Jordan this team would score 110 a game. |

![]() Let’s see, Eddie Jordan coaches a team that’s always injured, he gets the most of the mercurial Gilbert Arenas, he’s in the playoffs every year despite a spate of injuries, he somehow keeps the team together when two of his centres – Brendan Haywood and Etan Thomas had fistfights on three different occasions, including once in the locker room. His GM can’t keep a key backup like Roger Mason Jr. when everyone knows Arenas won’t play a full year because he never does. He restores some sanity to a franchise after Michael Jordan, Leonard Hamilton and, yes, Doug Collins made a mockery of it.
And he gets fired after 11 games? Man, they should name the arena after him, not fire him -Doug Smith of the Toronto Star |
