EC PLAYOFFS; ROUND 1: CHI WINS -- (1) CHI BULLS - 4 VS (8) IND PACERS - 1
KEY ROTATION PLAYERS:
Kurt Thomas/Omer Asik
IND team defence vs Derrick Rose- This is going to probably be on every series key matchups for the Bulls that I preview. Can IND find a way to somehow slowdown the MVP?
Bulls frontcourt vs IND frontcourt- IND's frontcourt has gotten the better of the Bulls frontcourt in the couple of games I watched of this matchup. Boozer needs to wake up and play EVERY NIGHT in the playoffs, something he hasnt been doing since coming back from injury. He seems to have a good game then follow it up with being invisible the next night. If Hansbrough can use his quickness and score in the paint vs Boozer then the Bulls might have an issue. But Boozer really only struggles vs length so I see this being in CHIs favor for every game but possibly game 3. If Noah can get going in this series and get back to 1st half of the season Noah and regains his rhythm, then the Bulls have a legit shot at the title.
Luol Deng vs Danny Granger- The only chance the Pacers have of winning a few games again is with the frontcourt, but also with this matchup. Granger has a hard time when he has to create off the dribble, and CHI is the best team in the league at defending the perimeter. Granger is really going to have to work hard to get his points, and I'd bet a majority of his shots will come off the dribble and he'll shoot a low %. Look for Deng to put the clamps on Granger, and as always, be the consistant 15+ PPG guy on the other end, winning this matchup.
CHI in 4. I see Noah having a couple of good games to start the series and the Bulls confidence skyrocketing into a big game 3 win, which is generally the only game the lower seeds have a chance of winning. Expect the unicorn Mr Rose to go off as usual, and the Pacers to get killed for 3/4 games.

I love upsets and underdogs, but that far below .500 and you barely deserve a playoff spot. They're going to get completely destroyed. I'd put the over/under on average margin of victory at 15 pts - who's with me on the over?
