Default EC PLAYOFFS RD 3 : (2)MIA HEAT vs (4)BOS CELTICS

STARTERS:

MIA

Mario Chalmers
Dwyane Wade
LeBron James
Shane Battier
Ronny Turiaf

BOS

Rajon Rondo
Ray Allen
Paul Pierce
Brandon Bass
Kevin Garnett

KEY ROTATION PLAYERS:

MIA

Mike Miller
Udonis Haslem
Joel Anthony

BOS

Mickael Pietrus
Greg Stiemsma

Key Matchups:

Will Bosh come back in this series? It's not looking good according to the reports. If he doesnt come back, it gives Boston a very nice defensive edge since KG is the best pick and roll defensive big in the league, and should cause havoc vs their isos on the weakside as well being able to play off Turiaf and Anthony every possession.

PREDICTION:

The heart says Boston in 6 without Bosh. The mind says Miami in 6.

No way, Boston takes this. We find out how bad Miami is without Bosh in this series.

Isn't Bosh going to be back in this series? Either way Boston looked tired vs Philly and I have a feeling this won't be pretty.

Hoping for Boston all the way!

KG vs Duncan would be a good send-off for their careers (even though they're probably not done for a few years)

If Boston plays the kind of defence theyre capable of playing, Miami is going to really struggle unless Chalmers and Miller light it up. They threw multiple guys and different defences at both Lebron and Wade alone in the past where they were swallowed most of the time in the halfcourt, having to dish it off to teammates to make a play. Miamis spacing and passing is going to have to be extremely fluent for them to really pull away, and thats something we havent seen at all this year without Bosh in the lineup.

Boston isnt Indiana. They are actually capable of hedging, and double teaming with their bigs without giving up a wide open dunk or 3. Hopefully Bostons in full rhythm coming off of a big game 7 win.

I'd buy into Boston's defense more if Bradley was there. Boston isn't Indina, but Miami isn't Atlanta or Philly either.

Time for Rondo to earn that all-nba nod.

Time for Pierce to turn back the clock a few years, like he did in game 2 against Atlanta.

Time for Jesus Shuttlesworth to play for his next contract.

Boston seems to play their best, only when their backs are against the wall. With some people anointing the Heat the champs before the season started - it will be a good chance for them to see how much is left in the tank. Hopefully they ride the momentum of the win against the Sixers in game 7 into this series.

i'm loving these conference finals match-ups. i think i would have preferred to see a chicago/miami match-up, but watching the original big three going up against the unoriginal big three is a treat.

i hope they battle it out so hard that they're both broken for the finals. i'd hate to see either team win it. i really don't care who wins as long as the winning ends after this series.

I would guess as little as possible. It would be nice to see him in the post more though.
