Default EC PLAYOFFS RD 2: (2) MIA HEAT vs (6)BRK NETS

STARTERS:

MIA

Mario Chalmers
Dwyane Wade
Lebron James
Udonis Haslem
Chris Bosh

BRK

Deron Williams
Joe Johnson
Alan Anderson
Paul Pierce
Kevin Garnett

KEY ROTATION PLAYERS:

MIA

Norris Cole
James Jones
Ray Allen
Chris Anderson

BRK

Shaun Livingston
Marcus Thornton
Mirza Teletovic
Andray Blatche

Key Matchups:

This may end up being MIA's biggest test before the Finals if the regular season has any indication of how this series will progress, as Nets won the series 4-0, though 2 games were without Wade. Brooklyn matches up really well with MIA, as they're extremely composed in the halfcourt, generally with 4 very good passers in the starting lineup, so they'll be able to handle MIA's pick and roll traps and play 4 on 3 effectively. The key to the series will be how BRK defends MIA's perimeter shooting, as if they try and use the same strategy as Boston used to use in trying to make the big 3 beat them, they may have a shot. Ultimately though, if Deron Williams doesn't play like a star, BRK really has no chance of winning this series, and he hasnt shown that he's back to his allstar form in the past few years.

PREDICTION:

MIA IN 6

I know I'll probably be wrong, but I really want to see Brooklyn beat Miami. I'm going with Brooklyn in 6.

I'd love a sweep but I'll say 5. The Heat are a different defensive animal in the playoffs. That 4-0 means nothing now. The Raps have shown how vulnerable the nets are against small ball lineups and Miami is the superior team by far on both sides of the ball. Miami uses Bron to shut down JJ and Wade to shut down Williams.

No contest.

I hate Miami but I really hate Brooklyn more; Miami in game 5 Torch these fuckers; and Fuck Brooklyn. We took Brooklyn to game 7 so they should be half cripple by now; Finish these old timer and send them into the retirement home

I'd rather BKN win cause fuck the Heat and I want to see LeBron bolt in the summer, that would be hilarious. But I think Heat will take it in 6

It'll be interesting to see where the Heat's defense is at. Brooklyn's looks very good right now and could throw the Heat off. If the Heat try to win while giving up 50+% shooting then they will be in trouble.

Joe Johnson scoring. Must be Casey's fault.

That was some good sarcasm there now.

Lol Miami turns on defence in fourth, no chance for the Nets and not a surprise at all.

they just put it in another gear and blow teams away.
tbh, seeing them dismantle the nets (i know its only game 1), a part of me is glad we're not there getting embarrassed.

The difference between the two teams energy-wise is pretty apparent. Miami might get a real boost if they can cruise through this series as well. They owe us.
