I hope the heat wins this year, (unless okc in the finals). I don't hate the heat, didn't fi anything wrong, just used surroundings to their advantage and everyone starts bitching

I hope so as I've been a spurs fan is Robinson/Rodman days....they should have won last year imo so I'm hoping they redeem themselves.

On a side note, I love Bosh and here's hoping he opts out and comes home to play :jack:

That's because Miami has never had true fans, but instead a bunch of bandwagon fans. Look at any major sports franchise in the Florida area and you will see that hardly any fans exist for their teams.

Orlando Magic and Miami Heat - no fans
Jacksonville Jags, Miami Dolphins and Tampa Bay Bucs - no fans
Florida Panthers, Tampa Bay Lighting - no fans
Miami Marlins, Tampa Bay Rays (I've been a huge Rays fan since 1998) - no fans

Whenever any of these teams do good bandwagon fans come in droves, but as soon as the team begins to lose the fans are gone in a flash.

I saw the Heat in Miami two years after their Championship with Shaq. The team made season seat holders buy three seasons to get their seats. Of course everyone JUMPED on this deal.

The recorded attendance was 16,500. I'd be surprised if there was 3000 on a Tues to watch the Raps. People were having conversations across the court. I could here the Raps talking in the time outs (I was seven rows up) .

The two people in front of me read the paper for the whole game. Their fan base sucks. Prob because its always sunny and warm and who wants to be indoors?

Whatever. They suck. Brooklyn Sucks. I stopped watching.

Its nice to see the nets getting shafted for calls like we were. Now they know how it feels.

Man it's too hard for me to watch this series knowing that if that game winner went in we would be playing the heat

I wouldn't assume that. That Raptors squad was great in that they always managed to stay in games and pull off surprises. Starting the series on the road would've been a perfect situation for us. I still think we would have had some fighting chance, more so than how this nets squad is faring against them.

Watching Miami abuse the boring nets just makes our game 7 loss hurt more than ever.

Going 0-4 doesn't help my case, but I think this net team who went 4-0 against them will probably get swept IMO

Just a biased Raptors fan here:mattyd:

I feel you. IDC if raps lost in 4, the experience and exposure would been hugem free agents would see raps as a young team with potential similar to Andre who left Denver to GSw...

Rayray leads the Heat with 8 rebounds. Only KG has more, with 12 in 21 minutes. Weird game.
