tbh, seeing them dismantle the nets (i know its only game 1), a part of me is glad we're not there getting embarrassed.
My thoughts too, how demoralizing it could have been

Miami in the playoffs - all I can say is wow. Maybe the great coach of the Nets will come up with something....spilled drink maybe? Pipe to the knee before tip off on LBJ.....or Bosh....maybe Wade.....

something i just noticed watching this game... it feels like a regular season game. Miami crowd is so tame... so quiet.
no wonder garnett and co. were giving TO fans so much respect and saying how the atmosphere was so intense and so loud. some even said how they never experienced anything like it before. i believe it now after seeing this game. its like night and day.

Once the legs of the nets players go, the defense falls right off. The second halves are going to be a massacre everytime out. I didn't think Miami could try to win with their offense alone, but they will if they see brooklyn looking this slow.

Imagine if we had the roster of the Heat and won two straight championships, we would have a sold out crowd every game, intense crowds every game and our playoff crowd would by 100x more intense,

those closeouts/ those switches are spurs-like. miami when they give a shit, can become nearly unstoppable. nets looked pathetic, miami got baskets at will, its like the nets forgot how to play defense. i see this going to 6 because knowing the heat, they probably will take it easy cause thats how wade/lebron are.

also Bosh continues to destroy KG...

Disappointed Brooklyn lost game 1. As long as they win the series against Miami then I'll be happy

As much as I dislike Brooklyn, and want them those get swept in this series I must say.......Miami needs to lose, I'm triad of this Big Three crap, especially considering there is no way Miami goes to the finals the last three years in a row if they were a western conference team....their bullshit run needs to stop so that team can get disbanded and the east can finally become competitive again.

SAS will destroy them in finals IMO.

I would pick any of the 4 remaining teams in the west to beat the heat right now....but by the time the finals roll around, the Heat just might reach a level that they havn't been at all season, and they'll likely be very well rested compared to their Western counterpart.

You really think Portland could beat the Heat?

I strongly doubt OKC could either. LAC would have a better shot than those two imo. I still think SAS is the only team that can actually beat them.

I almost said 3 and excluded Portland, I probably wouldn't pick Portland, but imo right now they would at the least give Miami a very good series. Take them to atleast 6.

Miami looked pretty good last night, but that had a lot to do with Ray Allen playing one of his best games of the season. Overall they havn't played at the same level that they did last year.

I think the Clippers could win it all. As good Griffin and Paul are, DeAndre Jordan, at times, completely dominates the paint at both ends of the court. Tim Duncan is a tough match-up for him and Griffin though.

LAC and SAS can both take Miami...my heart was broken last year when SAS gave away that game 6 victory cause I knew right then and there that MIA would take game 7.....Looking forward to SAS or the clippers taking out MIAMI
