While the Orlando Magic are keeping all of their options open, Dwight Howard is not.

There are only four teams that Howard would sign a long-term contract with, according to a source close to the situation -- the Magic, New jersey Nets, Dallas Mavericks or Los Angeles Lakers.
Orlando Magic's Dwight Howard has four-team wish list, source says - ESPN

Damn.... you're right (made me look it up ya bastid!). Apologies to Filth.

Forgot that Robinson was still pretty effective for those first few years after Duncan came aboard.

I think your right Lebron started the whole super team thing and Carmelo started the big market thing. Now they want super teams and a big market, pathetic.

Mavs will have about 35 million coming off the books this summer.

If they amnesty Haywood, they'll have a payroll of about 33 million which leaves them 25 million under the cap.

If this has any chance of happening (and working well) Dirk would have to use the new provision in the CBA to reduce his salary and increase the length of his contract, that way they'd be able to sign both Deron + Dwight.

Hopefully Kidd would resign for peanuts to help them get another chip. Let the rest of the pieces fall ass they may.

I would only be happy with Dwight there just because it would be such an amazing duo to watch. Deron on the other hand should stay put.
