It seems like you guys are expecting the players to jump over the backboard or something.

The Dunk Contests are getting worse and worse because there are only so many things you can do with a basketball and a basket that hasn't already been done before. One can only jump over so many people before it starts getting old.

I liked the 3rd dunk personally. The full extension while in the Mailman pose was pretty sweet. The first dunk probably would've been better if he hadn't bounced the ball so close to the basket. But you never know.

dude, respectfully disagree. THey're getting worse cause of the gimmicks and cause guys are competing in them too early. Rookies rarely have the legs for it.

They already tried a dunk contest without the gimmicks. Remember the Dallas All-Star Weekend? Probably not, and that's why. Yawn.

I think they need a healthy combination of both pure dunking ability with a hint of gimmick. Get rid of Kenny Smith and the gimmick level instantly plummets. That's all they needed to do, seriously.

There was only one short person that got jumped over. And two guys that got used as vaulting horses.

It wasn't bad in that there was only one embarrassingly bad string of failed attempts. And a lot of single successful attempts. Though boring and safe for the most part, at least they didn't overreach and look really bad as has been per usual for a lot of years now. Now give me that and some players that might produce some mild interest, and you might have something. It might be at the point where it can start to build itself back up due to low expectations.

The Evans 2 basketballs dunk was amazing. Other than that it was awful.

They really should have a mixture of NBA players and guys from teamflightbros+ a fan winning their way in as well and it'll create a better contest. Kenny Dobbs(?) in yesterdays dunk contest was amazing.

Kenny Dobbs vs. Exile with each of them getting 5 dunks each would have been 30487026503965395739755 x better than what we saw tonight.

Exile

Kenny Dobbs

Some of the crap that these guys do is INSANE. And very few of them involve gimmicks/props.

those dunks all sucked. They all did, even the good dunks took like 3 attempts.

Did not expect much from this bunch, they did what I thought they would do... stink

I think they should only allow props for the final round.. I mean, look at how creative demars dunks were for the past 2 competitions. The guys out there the hops and potential but they obviously did not practice enough. Williams..10 tries?

Budinger was turrible. Paul George was pretty good. Derrick William's 360 off the side of the backboard was a nice dunk. Evans had a nice 2 ball dunk but his other dunks were really basic. Overall, this has to be one of the weakest contests I've ever seen.
