To be honest, I want to see lakers in the playoffs badly. They'd be the dark horse you always want. Though I hate all the help they get from NBA, I hate how selfish Kobe is, apart from rare exceptions, he's killing that team, plays 48minutes but all he does on D is resting, then goes for rampages on offense ignoring others.
Gasol, Jamison, Clark, World Peace, Nash could make it to the playoffs on their own, with OK coach. Kobe and Dwight are cancers.
LAL will beat Hornets and Portland, because they are teams that nba has no problem to make lose with help of referees. San Antonio will win. GSW and Rockets are kind of hard to predict, can't wait to watch those games.
InB4 Kobe tries to make it to the playoffs on his own and loses 4 out of 5 games left. Then blames everyone else for not doing enough

If Utah can some how beat OKC that might just be enough to "KO" the Lakers.

Golden State and Houston are both fighting for the 6th seed and trying to avoid playing the Spurs or Thunder in the first round if they finish in 7th. I expect Golden State to try really hard and continue to give their starters quality minutes. The Lakers last game with Houston is a wildcard, because the 6th seed might be decided by then. If it's not, then Houston will probably still play the main guys 30+ minutes.

The Lakers are the furthest thing from a darkhorse you can be. They still have very little chemistry, and they cant stop any team with quick PG's. So lets review the playoff teams PGs:

Parker, Westbrook, Paul, Curry, Conley, Lawson, Lin

Add in the fact that they cant guard the 3 either because of the idiot 1 man zone who's going to die on the court from exhaustion and terrible defence, and you have a recipe for a defensive disaster.

But I still want to see them make the playoffs, so they get embarrassed infront of the world. Not making the playoffs isn't enough for me, it's too easy.

Nah, I want to see the Lakers completely miss the playoffs. And I even lose money if it happens. Their lotto pick goes to the Suns. That would be hillarious. No playoffs and no pick. Icing on the cake would be Dwight leaving to a team that has max room, with no sign and trade to give the Lakers anything in return.

That would be giggly fun time.

If Jazz makes it, SAS or OKC vs Jazz will be least interesting matchup of the playoffs. I'm definitely not watching that.
And now I know how would majority of nba fans would feel about Heat-Raptors first rounder

Country pride, dancers, dunks, streetball elements, enjoying good and funny commentary, need to support sport that you exercise yourself, you can recognize players better than in football, because cameras film from closer range...

Let's go Lakers,I hope they get in. I really don't like Dwight Howard,Mike D'Antoni is slightly overrated as a head coach and Bryan Colangelo's affection for Steve Nash really screwed the Raptors over but L.A. is still a fun and interesting team to watch and whether you like him or not,Kobe is still one of the greatest competitors in team sports today. Utah is boring and will just get swept in the series,by a landslide each game versus the Spurs or Thunder, while the Lakers will make it close.
