Of course a PG makes life easier for any big man but Bosh didn't need one nearly as much as a "traditional big" would have. He didn't use much of a low post game and initiated his offense from the top of the key off the dribble.
We are all too familiar with the non-traditional Bosh offense.... the lack of ball movement was deafening.

I agree. Happens though when your team consists of one player and not much else.

Interesting to note though that no one has a problem with Bargs doing the EXACT SAME THING this season. lol.

Bargnani moves the ball way more than Bosh ever did.... don't fool yourself, and Bagnani doesn't hold the ball so long before making his move either.

But Bosh was effective if he didn't hold the ball so long.

Lol... selective memory. It wasn't as if Bosh spent EVERY possession holding the ball in the high post for 10 secs before making his move. If I wanted to there are YEARS of Bargs gaffes that I could highlight.

And no... Bargs doesn't really move the ball any more than Bosh did. Bosh has had higher asst numbers in nearly every season. And even if you disregard stats and just go by the games both were pretty close to even (could be better, but again... not much support).

The Knicks desperately need a facilitator. Neither Stoudemire nor Anthony are great distributors, but instead they are scorers. The Knicks' management team obviously had tunnel vision when they made these acquisitions - seeing that they were star players but failing to assess their individual games and how they would complement one another.

I agree that dealing one of them for a PG would be the way to go. However, there aren't many out there. Also, as the Knicks management team, would you risk dealing Anthony for Deron Williams, who could leave as an UFA after the season?

except Bosh was asking for the league maximum for pretty much the same output. So I dont really give a crap how long either one holds on to the ball, If the recent Bargani improvement hold, and he actually gets better, I'd say toronto kept the right guy. 7 Million dollar deal of the century.

Won't matter either way until we see an actual proper built TEAM here rather than a 1-man show and a bunch of scrubs.

We'll see where Bargs is come season's end.

I don't think it was just Nash. That roster was well put together and fit very well in that system.
