Default Devean George Doesn't Want To Ride Bench

old article from august 9th. but, this is the first time i've seen it and i find it interesting news.

Quote:
The Warriors acquired Devean George in a trade with the Raptors recently, and the veteran forward plans to contribute.

The deal, which sent Marco Belinelli to Toronto, has motivated George.

"I didn't come here just to sit on the bench," George told the San Francisco Chronicle. "I came here to get in the rotation and help the team."

He will have to fight for playing time with a number of Golden State's wing players.

RealGM: Basketball Wiretap Archives: George Doesn't Want To Ride Bench In Golden State

Golden State seems like they really ike george and want to keep him and have him contribute. that's why he hasn't been involved in trade talks.

I am intrigued to see what george has got left in the tank. it's good to hear he doesn't want to be an nba bum.

Guess your right. Looked at his career stats... 3 pts, 3pts, 7pts, 7pts, pts, 7pts, 6 pts, 6pts, 4pts, 3.5pts. In case you haven't noticed, he's declining from the greatness he had in what some might call a pathetic excuse of a prime.

What is your argument here exactly? It seems pre-mature.

He'll be lucky to see 10 minutes of playing time every game. He is pretty done in the league.
