Apparently a lot of the players and coaches have been saying D-Rose has been the most impressive at the US camp. :mattyd:

I hate when players make comments like this. If he gets injured again can the doubters laugh too? He'll just look like a tool if he does. Just shut your pie hole and play.

He's had over 2 years to rest, of course he's fired up and has the most energy.

They came on late at the end of the season. I believe they were sub .500 for most of the first half.
The Raptors of course, steady as a fossilized rock.

Funny thing is, once they picked up Augustine in December they turned things around quickly I believe going on a ridiculous 15-5 kind of run and they never looked back. I still can't believe they didn't bring him back, instead going with John Lucas III. Although I think he would have been too expensive for a 3rd PG.

Not sure how this could be a surprise to anyone, even Rose.

Seriously for a guy that passionate about basketball to be volunteering himself out of the game and being so precautious, it must be some serious stuff going on behind the scenes they not telling.

If he cant play with the same aggresiveness and relentless explosive athleticism like before, his career is done. Never the same player. He aint the first athlete and wont be the last, atlease he got paid. Many never got paid.

The Chicago Bulls will be without point guard Derrick Rose for the foreseeable future after an MRI confirmed a torn medial meniscus, forcing Rose to undergo another knee surgery.

According to the Bulls, Rose reported knee pain on Monday and underwent the MRI which showed a tear in the meniscus in his right knee. The injury is the same one Rose had surgery on in 2013. It will be his third knee surgery since 2012 including the torn ACL he suffered in his left knee during the 2012 playoffs.

More to come.

My heart breaks for this guy. Such a sad story. The youngest MVP in NBA history and my favourite player. So much promise. Now probably nobody will even touch him...

Well at least he will have more time now to attend those important meetings that he discussed earlier this season.

He was a baby, like 27 or somethin'

Roy's issues are not the same as Rose. B-Roy had overgrowth bone issues. More or less spiky shards of knee bone tearing things up on the inside of his knee. With Rose, it's just wear and tear. It's a flat slab to work with, not an uneven hilltop. I hope Derrick can get this issue fixed and finish out a strong career in the NBA.
