Default Deron Williams to the nets?!! say what??

The Nets have acquired Deron Williams.

Devin Harris and Derrick Favors will be traded to the Jazz, along with two first round picks.

New jersey will send Troy Murphy to Golden State, while the Warriors trade Dan Gadzuric to the Nets.

The Nets pursued Carmelo Anthony for months, but were ultimately unsuccessful as he preferred a trade to the Knicks. But the Nets were committed to acquiring a legitimate superstar and quickly were able to acquire Williams, who is eligible to be a free agent in 2012.

Williams isn't a bad backup plan compared to Melo....Didn't see this coming at all!

Fuck.

So, what the hell are we going to do with Millsap, Favors and Jefferson? What a disaster.

Our division has super-star power. Our team has no super-star and plays no defense. Its a pont guard driven league: Deron Williams, Rondo, Billups, and Jrue Holiday running their teams in our division. Yes, we are driving a Hyundai Sonata in Formula One Race.

Milsap is going absolutely nowhere, unless they have completely lost their minds.

That All-Star ballot looks stuffed for the East for years to come, especially if Paul ends up in NY in 2012.

With all the teams in our division trying to improve like crazy, will the Raptors soon look a little like Blue Jays?

meh, we'll see if Deron signs an extension...I say he should go to L.A. or Orlando when he's a free agent in 2012

He's a Center that gives a double most nights. He isn't the greatest defensively but he'd give us things we currently lack. Namely rebounding (9.1rpg) and blocked shots (1.9blks).

The Blue Jays in the last decade have at least been able to compete with their division rivals albeit barely.

The Raps are shaping up to be perennial losers now. If Colangelo knew that Utah was shopping Deron Williams, we should've at least made some kind of offer. Top level PGs are a rarity in this league.
