Default Darius Miles arrested for bringing gun to airport

Quote:
Miles, who is still somehow only 29 years old, was taken into custody after security discovered the firearm in an X-Ray screening. It's unknown as to if the gun was in his luggage on actually on him. It's also not known what kind of gun it was.

I found it more shocking that he's only 29 lol.

Was this guy really that bad that he couldn't get a team to sign him???

I remember him being a decent part of the rotation on the Cavs or the Blazers I think.

Injuries my friend... He was super athletic and even had skills (mainly ball handling) as a rookie:

Regarding the gun charge, is it really surprising? Most NBA players, aside Grant Hill, probably carry guns. Guns = protection. Bringing it to the airport is just stupid but w.e. No surprise here. He had 60M of career earnings, no problem.

He tried... He played for Memphis and was a part of the Charlotte's summer league team or preseason team? He's just can't play in the NBA anymore...

i disagree with mb... errr, i mean 6cubed, although he does have a point.

i don't think he was never really much of a quality nba player. he was an athletic freak that came to the nba as a high schooler, but never had enough experience to make that leap (pun intended). he could jump out of the gym, but couldn't shoot outside 10 feet and was a lot more interested in showboating than in learning the game. he managed 9 and 5 type numbers, and had a couple seasons at 12-14 and 5, and he could have been a solid rotation player, but his head never seemed to be into it. ball handling and jumping are one thing, but being a dolt supercedes that by a wide margin.

he did have a bad knee injury and went through microfracture surgery, but he well good enough to come back with a lot of athleticism. problem is that he then violated the substance abuse policy and was waived.

after that there was the controversy about the blazers threatening to sue anyone that picked him up because it would trigger the end of his injured player salary cap relief and add $12 mil onto the blazers payroll. the grizzlies signed him anyways and portland ate the cost. he played the rest of that season and that was it. injuries, selfishness and stupidity are enough to make athleticism worthless. that's my take, anyways.

It's a combination of injuries and immaturity. Right now he's no longer in the league probably because of his injuries. At the end of the day he made $60,000,000 in salary as well as advertisements (sponsored by Jordan).

That settles the "Which player gets arrested first" derby. Now we can wait and see who gets fat.

Um. Any decision to be within 10 meters of Scarlett Johansson for an extended amount of time can never be called anything but a no brainer perfect decision.

What are you thinking???

Personally, I think Erika Christensen is pretty fuckable, too. She's a MILF on the show Parenthood.
