We should know very soon now that this domino has fallen.

I hope he wastes away in that shit hole burrough with Joe Johnson...

Fucking ass hat Deron Williams.

Kirby 07-03-2012 07:14 PM

Screw you, Jeff.
I'll give you that one haha.

Could be bad for Raps chances of signing Nash, if Dallas throws a boatload at him now. With Terry going to Celtics, and D-Will going to Nets, the Mavs are now going to have money to burn on their backcourt. /captain obvious/

All the criticism of Billy King was really premature, to say the least. Rumor has it they are still in the running for D12. People thought Riley was acting weird when he was giving away young players and giving picks to teams in exchange for them helping him gut his own roster. A big vision has to start somewhere. If the Nets get D12, this will be the prime example of how you don't judge a single move in isolation. Big plans sometimes require drastic actions.

You would think Nash's decision is next. Hopefully it's in the next couple hours.....the suspense is killing me.

Tomorrow at the latest if I were to guess.

So, as it currently stands, the Nets roster looks like...

Lopez
Tet something - the dude they signed with the MLE
Wallace
Johnson
D-Will

Evans
Marshon Brooks
And they have cap holds on: Gerald Green and Hump (and a few other scrubs)

That's a decent team.

But, if they make the trade for D12...moving Lopez, Hump and Marshon

D12
Tet...
Wallace
Johnson
D-Will

Evans
cap holds
vet mins

That starting lineup is insane yo! :cookie:

They'll need to get crafty to fill out the bench, like the move to get Evans.

Doubt they'll get Howard.

They're just gonna be the new Hawks. I give it two years max before Deron wants out.

bjjs 07-03-2012 07:22 PM

Dallas isn't getting to the top again and I think Nash knows it. All he had to do was watch last years playoffs and how much of a struggle it was for Dirk to get clean looks against younger players like Ibaka. Not to mention Terry jumping ship...Imo he was there most steady perform all year long.
