So is the ship sinking in Dallas. Terry gone, D-Will not coming, Kidd possibly not coming back?

I really just want Dwight to suffer, Nets should just come out and say "we've given up on Dwight, he's too much of a bitch to join our team"

Yep, Going to Dallas doesn't seem like something Nash would do give the circumstances...the move doesn't fit his personality.

They'll be fine. They're going after Gordon, Nash

Nash/Beaubois
Gordon/Roy?/Jones
Marion/Carter
Nowitzki/Wright
Haywood/?

What an old ass team though. lol

I hope you're right. Still worried that it's taking him this long though.

Please, his only other viable option is us. Lets face it, as much as i agree with SJ he's obviously not all that enthralled with being a Dinosaur. lol

He has also shown in the past that he is extremely loyal to Jay Triano, so much so that he turned his back on the National program in defense of him...we might have had a better shot with Jay at the helm.

Did Jay-Z just get more pompous and arrogant?

More importantly, is that even possible?

I don't think he would be where he is if he was extremely pompous & arrogant. He's a smart fellow.

You might be thinking of Kanye West. They hang out together sometimes.

Pomposity, arrogance and success can co-exist. That is one pompous dude.

And does damn near EVERY single song have to underline that?

Dude....it's music. Hip hop music. It's supposed to be arrogant. I thought you were talking about the person - not the act.

To those saying Dallas is done...it very well could be but I'll keep faith.

They always find a way to make something happen.

My blueprint would be: Sign Nash, throw max at McGee, sign Brandon Roy, Resign Kidd and West and potentially Terry if he's honest about giving us a chance to match.

Sign and trade Beaubois and Carter for Beasley.

Nash - Kidd - Cunnginham
Roy - Terry - West
Marion - Beasley
Nowitzki - Wright
McGee - Mahinmi

Reloaded with assets to deal and a solid playoff run in em.

Your blueprint is not possible.

Assuming they amnesty Haywood...why not?

They'd be 23-24 million dollars under the cap.

Nash 2 years 24 million
McGee 4 year 58 million (should start at 11)

Then resign Kidd, West and Terry using bird rights?

Can that not be done?

They'd have to renounce the birds rights to be 24 million under cap, which means they do NOT have the birds rights to sign Kidd and Terry over the cap.

It also means they'd lose the MLE which I assume you were going to use to go after Brandon Roy or Beasley.

The only way you could pull it off is if Nash and McGee were S&T transactions. That enables you to keep the all the necessary birds rights. But what are you going to Denver to do that? They will just match any offer you give McGee because he is an RFA.

There are a number of obstacles. You could do some of your blueprint, but not all of it. Too much trouble.
