CSKA Moscow Offer $5,5m to Ben Gordon

Ben Gordon told his manager to find him a club in Europe for next year as he didn't want to stay to Chicago for $4m net. His manager asked Olympiacos and Panathinaikos first to see if they want the player, but their roster was already full. The only other offer was from CSKA Moscow who offered him 5,5 but he wants 7 ,as much as Childress earns.

He wants to stay in Europe for one year and then we will go back to the NBA waiting for a six-year 75 million deal.

Until Wednesday we will know if he is gonna accept or reject the offer.

Gordon only wants $7 million? I would of thought he'd be looking for something bigger seeing how most overrate him in the first place.

what i don't understand is that he'll consider going to russia and expect a 6 year 75 million dollar deal waiting for him back here.

dr.j

i don't think anyone overrates him say past his rookie season. i don't think a fan or nba coach/gm/mascot believes that he'll ever be as effective starting opposed to coming off the bench.

Was it in their "Rumours" section? I looked but couldn't see anything other than the other 6 or so articles posted regarding Ben.

They should put the name (or an indication) of their sources, give them some credit.

He is a pretty talented player but I don't think he should go overseas he will probably get a good offer from here,IMO

Actually I don't think CSKA needs Gordon as they already have a couple of good shooting guards such as Langdon Holden, Zisis, Siskauskas and Planinic.
