Default Could Portland Trade Their Draft Picks?

WOW ... to be the Blazers right now. Sooooo many options with those 4 picks this summer. As Pritchard alluded too, they're young enough and don't need to get any younger. What or who do you guys think they should target or do with those picks this summer which would help them improve even more than they already have? Keep in mind Oden will be back next season too.

"We look at picks as liquid assets. But since they are liquid, they are very movable. They can be traded; you can take a couple picks and move up or move down. What I look at is it gives me the flexibility to do a lot of things."

"We probably won't add four players, but it isn't out of the realm of possibility," he added.

It's not that exciting, three of them are 2nd round picks.

still, if Oden doesnt have lingering problems, Portlands future is crazy bright, i fully expect Greg to be a top 5 centre right off the bat if he is fully healthy, and to only get better, u mix in all that young talent, if they can keep it all, wow, they will be great.

i could see them pairing some of the picks with a contract like raef lafrentz's or darius miles(although they might wanna keep him and see what he can do) for a role player. they have a enviable roster though, that is for sure

I meant the draft picks they have this year aren't that exciting, not the team itself.

they need a veteran leader on that team.
youth can only get you so far.... they need someone who will step in, and keep the team in check... someone who can mentor the younger guys and lead them from the inside out.
he doesnt have to be a star, but a leader.
they've got such a great core to build around, i really dont see them drafting more young guys to clog their rotations...
they'll probably look to trade their picks this summer for that veteran.

Yeah, either a vet SG or PG would do them a lot of good depending on what they think of Webster. I like Webster and think hes a good fit, so maybe trading Jack and the pick for a good vet PG would do the trick and have Blake off the bench.

Jack+pick for Terry/Andre Miller.
