I doubt he'd start coaching a new team this late in his career. If anything, he'll resign with the Lakers.

As for who is going to coach the Cavs, I think it'll be Callipari if Lebron stays. But I really think the dark horse out of all these candidates is Byron Scott. No one really has him on their radar, which is kind fo surprising.

One name being tossed around as someone the Cavs might look at is Kelvin Sampson. Right now he is the assistant coach of the Milwaukee Bucks. This was his first year there before that he spend a year with the Spurs.

But is best known for his college coaching career at Montana State, Washington State, Oklahoma and 2 years at Indiana. His college coaching career ended cause he couldn't keep the programs out of trouble for recuriting violations. lol

Sampson never produced a contending team in college with all those violations, at least Calapari came close

only college coaches that could work are Izzo, K and maybe Stevens in the future

Calapari has had some SERIOUS talent to work with. This past year he had 4-5 first round draft picks on his team. I don't know if you can say the same with Sampson.

Everywhere Sampson went he done well. He turned a terrible Washington State program into an average program. He has had success where ever he has been and a lot of people said he was another reason the Bucks(NBA) were successful this past year. Also read somewhere that Spurs coach Popovich also said he thinks Sampson is a very good coach. Not bad coming from a guy like that.

Just a name being toss around. Yahoo also said the Clippers also might have some interest in him.

If the Lakers win a ring then he will probably retire, same goes for Doc Rivers. Theres no way Jackson is going to Cleveland, after spending his good days in Chicago and L.A theres no way hes going to shitty Cleveland to look at factories.
