Clippers willing to move #1 pick

Quote:
One league source on Wednesday even indicated the seemingly unthinkable, that the Clippers would be willing to trade the top pick which they have already confirmed would be Griffin for the right package.

I wouldn't give up Bosh for the #1. Because other players would have to be involved and i don't want any package of players from the Clips.

how about the fact griffen wont be anywhere near Bosh in terms of production, that would be a decent reason too, and the fact Bosh hasnt even entered his prime yet

Thornton? Gordon? Kaman? The Clips are a black hole of basketball but they've definitely got some attractive pieces.

And who's to say Griffin won't be better than Bosh? He's got a more complete game than Bosh did when he was drafted, and people can't stop talking about his work ethic.

1. Wouldn't touch Kaman (Last 2 seasons= 78 games lost to injuries)
2. Thornton/Gordon aren't bad players at all but only make a combined 4Mil
therefore their really isn't a match.
3.Raps can do better. The package as a whole could be better with other teams and we can still possibly get a decent pick with better players included coming back in return for CB.

I'm thinking Zach Randolph would be pushed into the deal...

Certainly he would be. Fuck that garbage!

As much as the #1 pick would be nice. CB is a proven All star, and what we would have to take in return with the draft pick wouldn't be worth it at all.

I would rather get a package from GS including their #7 pick. Two top 10 picks (our #9 + their #7) plus a package of say Biedrins/Belinelli/Randolph would be just fine by me. Especially if we can off load Banks or Kapono's contract in the deal.

Fine i'd take:

Bosh (S&T)/Banks

for

Biedrins/Randolph/#7

The fact is, i would rather any deal with GS then any deal w/Clippers. Even with the #1 coming our way. Plus it is pretty well known that GS really want to go after Bosh. And they have around 6 players i would want, so take your pick. The problem with GS is they have alot of lower salary players (ie: Randolph,Belinelli,Wright...) Therefore Crawford and or Biedrins would have to come in the deal.

I just think that any deal with GS would be better then a deal with the Clippers.

We can argue on the package, but i think GS would give us quite a bit to get Bosh in a S&T.

GS looks like the better trade partner but Montaay would have to be included in the deal for the talent to even remotely match

Camby, Gordon and the #1 all look appealing to me.

Randolph does have a little value to certain teams.

Indy needs a low post presence, but a deal for Randolph would include Tinsley and either Murphy or Foster.

GS is another team I could see liking him in a trade involving Maggs and or Crawford.
Mabey Turiaf and either.

Bosh and Banks to LAL

Randolph to GS

#1-Griffin, Crawford, Wright, Turiaf and LAL 2nd to TO.

Davis
Gordon
Thorton
Bosh
Kaman

Ellis
Jackson
Buike
Randolph
Beans

Jose/Ukic
Crawford/AP
Marion/Wright
Griffin/Pops
Bargs/Hump/OBryant

Saves money enough to add AP, Delfino and Rasho.
Still have the 9th pick as well for BPA.

Camby is 35 and as much as #1 is appealing, who knows if griffin will work out in the NBA. He seems to be a sure thing but you really never know.Just look at Oden, would anyone still say he's a sure thing? My main thing is to get some younger players with some NBA success and an decent draft pick (doesn't need to be #1).

Hell i'd rather trade Bosh to Memphis and get the #2 pick. We can get more for him from Memphis. The only problem is Bosh would never wanna play in Memphis.

i think any trade that we do w/ GS, Belinelli would have to be involved. I'm not too crazy about randolph either...just something about him...

i'd be happy with beidrins, belinelli, wright for Bosh and even swap picks...i think that's reasonable for both sides.
