I said 09-10 and Rip is a FA in 09-10..I do not know why you are confusing yourself.
He's stupid?

09-10 isn't the summer. New Year's is in January.

Rip is a free agent in 2010. At no point in 09 is he a free agent.

He's not confusing himself. You're confusing him...and everyone else.

The 09-10 season. Summer of LeBron is what I said.
-10 is 2 thirds of the season. The season starts last day of October/first day of November. If you want to be so specific then..

Lebron is not a free agent until the summer.

All free agents are signed in the summer.

October and November are not in the summer.

No one is an FA in 09-10, as you do not become a FA during the season.

2010 is indeed only 2/3 of the season, but it comprises 100% of the FA signing period.

So, as you can see, including 09 in your description could easily be confusing to people who correctly regard the summer as being exclusively in 2010.

Therefore, you calling jeff stupid and saying he was confusing himself was totally incorrect, as you were the one confusing him, and most would say that his comment hardly qualified as stupid.

I actually started discussing who the Raptors could go after in the 09-10 summer(obviously..)
He said a bunch of qualifying names.-No problem
I said that we could do better with 23M-09-10 free agency would give us 23M cap space, could go after bigger names
He'd said that next year we don't have 23M.
I clearly stated that in the summer of 09-10 we have 23M to spend.

But there's no such thing as a 09-10 free agency man.

There's the 2008 Free Agent class (which is this offseason)
There's the 2009 Free Agent class (which is next offseason)
There's the 2010 Free Agent class (which is in 2 years offseason)

No such thing as a 08/09 free agency or a 09/10 one.

One more time

THE SUMMER OF 09-10 DOES NOT EXIST

Summer takes place all in one year. Hence the confusion.
