Yeah which makes it a solid trade for both teams.

Cavs are rebuilding and get another first round top 10 pick this draft.

Clippers will save about 5-6(total of 11M) the next 2 years(maybe more if Williams doesn't pick up his player options but he would be stupid not to). All they lose is a first round draft pick which a lot of people call a weak draft anyways.

Solid deal for both sides.

i'm sure with the abilities of a big man like blakes it makes developing chemistry pretty easy with any decent pg and mo is all star caliber. i'm sure they'll get it going in no time. and realisticly speaking, how much longer could davis and blake play together anyways if this trade didn't go thru?

Cavs took bad contract and lottery pick. Bad or good? Questionable.

When you're no where close to being a good team it is good. They only lose 5M each year with adding Davis and get a top 10 pick. Which when you're rebuilding you want as many top picks you can get.

Cavs know they have a long way to go and the best win to build the team is through draft picks. So keep adding talent through the draft is their plan.

The Cavs now have the potential to add Irving and Terrence Jones type draft day to the team. That is a start to go with Hickson. At least gives them some talent to build around.

hmmmmm..

Gives the Cavs 3 point guards. Daniel Gibson is signed long term and Davis' contract is a bad one. They also still have Ramon Sessions (I think). This could mean they pass on Kyrie Irving and take a SF, which they definitely need.

Gibson has one more year after this year + a team option. So if the Cavs want they only have him one more year with him. Sessions and Davis two more years after this.

Cavs are not looking 1-2 years down the road. They're planing 3-5 years down the road right now. So they're basically starting all over so I would not be surprise at all if they take Irving.

Wow. I would have offered:

Jose
Evans for Baron and LAC 1st overall DP

I don't really see what we can get next season in freeagency anyways. I mean I'd rather use that 9-10th overall to possibly move up a few spots in the draft.
Just imagine drafting Kyrie Irving and Terrence Jones/ Harrison Barnes.

I would follow up the draft trading Baron Davis for a combo guard like Ben Gordon OR Rip Hamilton (if possible) to come off the bench.

We would be like the Portland TrailBlazers... without the injuries

Irving/Bayless
Derozan/Gordon
Barnes/J.Johnson/Kleiza
Bargnani/Davis/A.Johnson
MLE/Dorsey

SOLID youth to build around.

^ I was also thinking about that when I was looking at this trade. But we already have barbosa who has a good attitude. And well just get another undersized guard who loves to chuck the ball.

But it would of been nice if we could of gotten a top 10 pick, Jose + Fill, guess its too late now

Wow Baron Davis, gonna make Cleveland worse that it already, plus this years draft is weak so Clippers are the winners in this one. Mo williams got good range can handle the ball well, and fairly good court vision, and was probably Clevelands best player. Im guessin since they this team was built around LeBron, it dont mesh well with him not in the system and they want to get rid of a lot of pieces, and then start rebuilding round JJ. Jamario Moon is garbage and is too old to make an impact in the league for any team anywyz.
