Default Clippers may sign 2003 NBA Draft pick

Quote:
The Los Angeles Clippers may finally get a look at their second-round pick in the 2003 NBA Draft. In what amounts to the longest of long-term investments in the NBA, the Clippers' pick, Sofoklis Schortsanitis will finally make the trip to Los Angeles to potentially sign with the Clippers. Los Angeles has held Schortsanitis's rights since he was drafted in 2003, but he has been playing for Olympiakos in Greece most recently. Schortsanitis is just 24 years old still, so the Clippers have not necessarily missed out on his most productive years, in fact, they may have gotten a prospect without the price of development.

He's pretty much the Greek version of Eddy Curry. He's overweight, allergic to defense and has a good/solid back to the basket game.

might work well with Jordan coming off the bench... lots of options on the clippers, front court looks scary

Griffin/Jordan
kaman/Schortsanitis

he's really short for a big though, not even close to curry's height. Thats what i could see hurting him cause he's probably gonna play C with his foot speed.

I think of him more as a big big big baby. If he could lose some weight he could be nice.
