Clippers looking at possibly moving Baron Davis

Quote:
The Clippers are exploring whether anyone has interest in acquiring point guard Baron Davis via trade, according to a report by Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports.

Los Angeles coach Vinny Del Negro recently criticized the veteran's conditioning and the team won their first game of the season this week with Davis out of the lineup because of a swollen left knee.

Davis has three years and $41.8 million left on his contract, including this season.

Felton is not playing badly in New York, so I don't know why they'd risk it. Oh, wait, it's the Knicks. Nevermind.

You guys are acting like these are the Isiah Knicks. The 2010 Knicks have good management now with Walsh who didnt overreact like NJ did after they didnt get any bigtime star to go with Amare, but built a solid team instead that still has a lot of financial flexibility going into the future. Felton is putting up 16 and 7 on 50% from the floor, and to top it off, he has a 2 year deal!!! The Knicks are playing pretty good basketball right now despite having only played their first few games together. Out of the non contenders they're probably in one of the better positions in the NBA right now to become the next contending team IMO.

Thank you Ex2K, that about sums it up. Baron should seriously consider hanging it up (he won't because he's got too much money coming)--but don't think that he will--or that he'll ever get in shape--or that he'll ever stop jacking up clinkers all night if he gets a chance. The guy's a slug.
