Clippers curse continues

Quote:
Blake Griffin's NBA debut has been pushed back indefinitely after the Los Angeles Clippers revealed late Monday night that their No. 1 overall draft pick has a broken left kneecap.

The stress fracture could sideline the Oklahoma star for six weeks, the team announced, promising further information Tuesday.

yeah, heard about this. It must be AWESOME to be a clippers fan now.

Apparently he injured it while just going for a dunk... true?

I wouldn't call it a "Clippers Curse" I would just blame it all on ownership. Donald Sterling = Harold Ballard. End of story

Not good news for my fantasy roster. I'm contemplating whether or not I should drop him.

broken knee cap? haven't heard of that much, sounds like it could be a bad injury

didn't even look like he hit anybody either when he got injured, just broke it under the own stress of his leaping ability

sucks to be blake griffin, sucks even more to not be in the nba

so its minor becuase its hairline?

just seems like an injury that could linger and possibly re injure easily, like the next time he jumps with all his power

i wouldnt call it minor, but it will definitely hurt when he puts pressure on it. the only thing they can do is maybe cast it up and wait... hopefully it'll heal 100%.

This is just awful news for him. I was really looking forward to watching Blake play too. He's like a no-bullshit version of Amare Stoudemire with more toughness.

That probably wouldn't have helped so much because milk is good for your bones and the knee is cartilage.

I was sayin it before the draft the clippers should have traded that pick for Bosh cause there draft picks are cursed!!!!

I remember I proposed...

Bosh & Banks & possibly our 9th pick, 4 there 1st pick, Gordon & Kaman

If my memory serves me well, this is similar to the injury McDyess suffered when he joined the Knicks. Antonio went up for a dunk and when he came down his knee cap was busted.
